Experience:
4–5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in cement, construction materials, or heavy industry.
Strong experience in both local and international sourcing/imports.
Procurement & Sourcing
Manage end-to-end procurement of limestone & crushed stone from local and international suppliers.
Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers to ensure competitive sourcing.
Develop sourcing strategies to ensure cost efficiency and supply continuity.
Monitor market trends (local & global) affecting limestone & crushed stone pricing availability.
International Procurement
Handle import processes including supplier negotiation, contract finalization, and order placement.
Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and clearing agents.
Ensure compliance with import regulations, customs requirements, and documentation (LC, PI, BL, etc.).
Optimize logistics and freight costs.
Local Procurement
Maintain relationships with local suppliers and quarry operators.
Ensure timely delivery and quality compliance of locally sourced limestone & crushed stone
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms.
Vendor Management
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
Conduct supplier performance evaluations (quality, delivery, cost).
Resolve disputes related to supply, quality, or payments.
Cost & Budget Control
Negotiate contracts to achieve cost savings and favorable terms.
Monitor procurement budgets and ensure adherence.
Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
Coordination & Planning
Work closely with production, logistics, and finance teams for demand planning.
Ensure uninterrupted supply of limestone to plants.
Track inventory levels and align procurement schedules accordingly.
Compliance & Documentation
Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and regulatory standards.
Maintain accurate documentation of contracts, purchase orders, and import records.
Support audits by providing necessary procurement documentation.
