Experience:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
CA (CC) qualified with mandatory 3 years of articleship (Bangladesh).
Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in finance and accounts.
Strong knowledge of shipment costing, treasury operations, fixed asset management, and product costing.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools.
Sound understanding of financial regulations, import procedures, and documentation requirements.
Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Our state-of-the-art manufacturing plant is located at Birulia, Savar. Currently we are in need of Senior Executive – Finance (Costing).

Job Description
Perform shipment costing and ensure proper systemization once all items and documents (e.g., Fixed Assets, PM, RM) are received and ready.
Prepare and analyze product costing, including pre-costing and forward costing, in coordination with R&D and relevant departments.
Monitor and control production wastage, ensuring efficiency and cost optimization.
Manage banking activities and oversee import-related documentation and procedures, including VAT, AIT, and customs compliance.
Maintain effective coordination with cross-functional departments to ensure accurate data and information flow.
Record fixed asset acquisitions and disposals in the accounting system and assign appropriate asset tag numbers.
Track and compile project costs into fixed asset accounts and close accounts upon project completion.
Reconcile balances between the fixed asset subsidiary ledger and the general ledger.
Review and update detailed fixed asset schedules and accumulated depreciation records.
Identify and investigate potential obsolescence of fixed assets.
Conduct periodic impairment reviews for intangible assets.
Recommend asset disposals to the Finance Manager based on financial analysis.
Monitor daily cash inflows and outflows to ensure adequate liquidity for operations.
Manage fund transfers, payments, and bank reconciliations with accuracy and timeliness.
Coordinate with banks regarding credit facilities, loan repayments, and interest calculations.
Prepare treasury reports, including cash position, fund utilization, and financial risk assessments.
Ensure treasury operations comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Support internal and external audits by providing required financial documentation.
Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams for accurate shipment costing and budgeting.
Execute financial projects assigned by senior management.
