Key Responsibilities :

• Prepare annual and quarterly budgets for knitting, dyeing, finishing, and garments units

• Coordinate with production, merchandising, and procurement teams for accurate projections

• Monitor budget utilization and implement cost control measures

• Calculate cost per piece including yarn, knitting, dyeing, finishing, cutting, sewing, and packing

• Analyze consumption (yarn, dyes, chemicals, trims, accessories)

• Prepare CM (Cost of Making) and FOB cost sheets for buyers

• Monitor yarn price fluctuations and impact on costing

• Calculate knitting cost per kg and fabric cost per meter/kg

• Ensure efficient yarn utilization and minimize wastage

• Calculate dyeing cost based on shade, GSM, and fabric type

• Control chemical and utility consumption (water, steam, electricity)

• Analyze batch-wise costing and efficiency

• Track cost per process (knitting, dyeing, finishing, sewing)

• Conduct variance analysis between actual vs. standard consumption

• Identify areas for cost reduction and process improvement

• Prepare pre-costing and post-costing for each order

• Evaluate order profitability and margin analysis

• Support merchandising team in price negotiation with buyers

• Monitor stock of yarn, chemicals, dyes, and accessories

• Analyze wastage in knitting, dyeing, and cutting

• Implement measures to reduce process loss

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cost reports

• Develop MIS reports for management decision-making
