Nasir Group is looking for a high-performing, strategic, and commercially astute professional to join as Manager – Local Purchase, based at Head Office. This role is pivotal in driving centralized procurement excellence while ensuring seamless operational support across multiple factory units.
Location: Head Office (with regular support & coordination with factories)
Role Overview:
The incumbent will lead centralized local procurement operations, ensuring cost optimization, supply continuity, and process efficiency across all manufacturing units. This role requires strong leadership, negotiation expertise, and cross-functional collaboration between Head Office and factory operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage local procurement for multiple factories from Head Office
Develop and execute strategic sourcing and vendor management plans
Conduct high-level price negotiations and contract finalization
Ensure uninterrupted supply of raw materials, spare parts, and consumables
Collaborate with factory, production, and technical teams for effective demand planning
Identify cost-saving opportunities through market analysis and supplier benchmarking
Maintain strict procurement compliance, documentation, and audit readiness
Establish strong relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders
Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure quality and reliability
Prepare analytical reports for management decision-making
