Job Responsibilities of Waiter/Sr. Waiter
Welcome and assist guests in a professional and friendly manner.

Present menu and provide detailed information about food and beverages.

Take customer orders accurately and communicate them to the kitchen.

Serve food and beverages according to service standards.

Ensure guest satisfaction by responding promptly to requests and complaints.

Maintain cleanliness and proper setup of tables and dining areas.

Prepare bills and process payments accurately.

Follow hygiene, grooming, and safety standards at all times.

Coordinate with kitchen and other service staff for smooth operations.

Upsell menu items, promotions, and special offers when appropriate.

Handle customer feedback politely and professionally.

Ensure proper handling of restaurant equipment and utensils.

Supervise and support waiters during restaurant operations.

Ensure high-quality guest service and dining experience.

Train and guide junior waiters and new staff members.

Monitor table setup, cleanliness, and service standards.

Handle VIP guests and resolve customer complaints professionally.

Coordinate with kitchen, cashier, and management for smooth service flow.

Check order accuracy before serving to guests.

Assist in shift scheduling and staff duty allocation when required.

Monitor stock of service items and report shortages.

Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and restaurant SOPs.

Support restaurant management in achieving sales and service targets.
