Job Context:
∎ To achieve malaria elimination by 2030 from Bangladesh
∎ To reduce TB incidence (all forms) by 50% by 2025 and 90% by 2035
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare monthly action plan according to Malaria, TB and HIV activities guideline to oversee programme implementation in FDMN area.
∎ Provide necessary information to higher management in decision making.
∎ Conduct monthly meeting with Project Assistant to analyze field situation and take necessary steps as required.
∎ Ensure quality diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of patient.
∎ Ensure referral of complicated patient to upazila health complex or other facilities.
∎ Ensure proper distribution of LLIN, organize sessions before LLIN distribution as per guideline and ensure its utilization.
∎ Assist Govt health care provider to perform verbal autopsy.
∎ Supervise all activities of the Programme Organiser, Field Organizer, Project Assistant, and Lab Technician and oversee programme implementation.
∎ Facilitate periodic visits by NMEP, WHO, The Global Fund and other stakeholders.
∎ Facilitate internal & external monitoring and audit.
∎ Take proper steps to achieve programme activities in time and to ensure DOT at FDMN.
∎ Planning of social Mobilization & organize outreach smearing center due time as per schedule.
∎ Ensure Follow-up of each patient and their visit to the physician after detected with TB and update the status to the supervisor.
∎ Organize different awareness events as per programme guideline.
∎ Ensure daily reporting and prepare documents and different reports for the assigned programmes.
∎ Planning and smooth functioning of mobile X-Ray van for TB.
∎ Increase TB case detection in the FDMN area.
∎ Ensure TB treatment success rate more than 90%.
∎ Ensure regular Anti-TB and Anti-Malarial drugs and diagnostics supply to Project Assistant and Shasthya Kormi.
∎ Supervise and visit Programme Organizer, Field organizer, Project Assistant routinely and verify their performance accordingly.
∎ Regular communication with Govt. and other NGO staffs working in the health sector.
∎ Ensure referral and management of complicated patient to upazila health complex or other govt. health facilities through coordination with hospital management officials.
∎ Enrich the health provider’s programme knowledge regularly and ensure early diagnosis and prompt treatment with follow-up of patient.
∎ Prepare monthly and quarterly performance report and indent of drugs & logistics.
∎ Any responsibility assigned by the programme.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
