Responsibilities & Context:

Major Responsibilities

·       Implement field-level project interventions according to work plans, technical guidelines and organizational standards.

·       Support planning and execution of crop, livestock, poultry and fisheries activities, including demos, agri-mechanization, Artificial Insemination (AI) vaccination camps, feed preparation and pond management.

·       Facilitate agri-entrepreneurship services, machinery rentals, input supply and value-addition activities at community level.

·       Monitor quality, quantity and timely delivery of all interventions and help resolve field-level operational challenges.

·       Collect accurate field data for monitoring, reporting and evaluation.

·       Assist in preparing field reports, documenting lessons learned and providing inputs to the Field Coordinator.

·       Liaise with farmers, community leaders and stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation and high adoption of project activities.

·       Ensure adherence to environmental safeguards, biosecurity and sustainable agriculture practices.

·       Maintain regular communication with the Field Coordinator and technical specialists for guidance and support.

·       Promote community awareness, engagement and participation in all project initiatives.

Safeguarding Responsibilities

·       Ensure safety and protection of staff, beneficiaries and partners, upholding BRAC’s safeguarding standards.

·       Promote and enforce safeguarding procedures, encourage reporting of any concerns and support capacity-building on safeguarding requirements.
