Experience:
Minimum BSc. (Hons.) in Environmental Sciences, Agricultural Science, Forestry & Environment, Geography & Environment, or Environment & Natural Resources Management from a UGC-approved university
At least 2 years of relevant experience in climate change/environment-related projects.
Sound knowledge of Climate Change Adaptation & Mitigation, Climate-Smart Agriculture, and Climate-Resilient WASH.
Good command of English, with strong report-writing and communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet and computer applications in both Bangla and English.
Team management capacity, prepare training module and facilitation skills.

The project focuses on climate-smart agriculture, climate change adaptation and mitigation, environmental sustainability, and resilient livelihood practices.
Project Duration: January 2024 – December 2028
Duty Station: Assasuni and Kaliganj Upazilas, Satkhira
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate the formation and regular activities of Environment Clubs, including youth engagement and observance of national and international environmental days.
Organize and facilitate training, workshops, seminars and awareness sessions on climate change and adaptation.
Support/conduct EIA, IEE and preparation of EMP for relevant project activities.
Prepare environmental progress reports based on baseline and final assessment findings.
Monitor drinking water quality and having periodic reports writing skills.
Provide technical guidance to SRGs and adolescent girls on environment-friendly and climate-resilient agricultural practices and different sessions.
