Job Context:
∎ Project Name: Enhancing social protection for female tea garden workers and their families in Sylhet Division, Bangladesh
∎ Breaking the Silence (BTS) is a non-profit, non-political organization which began its journey in 1994 with the aim of stopping sexual abuse of children and creating a secure and child-friendly environment in Bangladesh. The organization is going to implement a project named `Enhancing social protection for female tea garden workers and their families in Sylhet Division, Bangladesh` at Mouvibazar, Sylhet and Hobigonj districts of Sylhet division. The project will be implemented by the support of `OXFAM-GB` and financed by `UN Women`. BTS is going to recruit two (2) `Training Officer` for the mentioned project and the position`s desk office at Sreemangal, Moulvibazar. The Contact Period of this position is 20 Months.
∎ Moulvibazar, Sylhet and Hobigonj district of Sylhet Division

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Capacity Building and project implementation: 1. Participate to develop tools to conduct Socio-economic assessment and Baseline survey, 2. Conduct training for the enumerators to conduct the survey, 3. Conduct capacity-building needs assessment of women workers for building life skills for improving their life and workplace condition, 4. Assist to develop training materials/video documentary in local language and English, including presentations, the trainer/ practitioner's guide, pre and post evaluation questionnaire and printing, 5. Conduct sessions on the life skills and issue related to improving working and living conditions for the women workers in the selected tea gardens, 6. Assist to conduct dialogue session with relevant stakeholders, 7. Facilitate the government authorities ,tea producers ,managers, local government, adolescent girl and women workers to monitor the provision of the services delivery including social protection skills, 8. Conduct sessions for specific thematic topics for the core group of women members of the Union/Panchayet, 9. Conduct refresher on specific thematic topics for the core groups of women members, 10. Support core group of women members of the Union/Panchayet facilitate a similar session in their tea garden, 11. Organize and conduct training on negotiation skills, management and leadership for tea garden workers particularly women of Panchayet, valley and central committee leaders of Bangladesh Cha Shramik Union, 12.
∎ Coordination & Communication: 1. Develop network with the Local government, Local Administration, CSOs, garden workers particularly women of Panchayet, valley and central committee leaders of Bangladesh Cha Shramik Union and NGOs to implement the project, 2. Initiate advocacy at local level.
∎ Finance and Administrative: 1. Maintain compliance, rules and regulations (financial and administrative) of partner and organization, 2. Support to Accounts and Admin section in financial and logistics management, 3. Support to Accounts and Admin section in procurement process and financial visit/audit as well.
∎ Monitoring, Reporting & Documentation: 1. Assist to conduct regular monitoring at selected tea garden with youth and women tea garden workers, LEBs and authorities, 3. Ensure quality of process documentation, 3. Assist to finalize monthly, quarterly, half annual, annual and project completion report of the project.
∎ Others: Any other duties that may be assigned by the management of organization.

Additional Requirements:
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO
∎ Training design, organize and facilitation and Capacity Development of Community
∎ Work experience with tea garden workers regarding social development and capacity building will give priority in selection process
∎ 3 years working experience of field level training program management.
∎ Age not over 40 years
∎ Able to work under pressure and willing to frequent travel to three districts of working areas (Moulvibazar, Sylhet and Hobigonj)
∎ Knowledge in adolescent, youth and women development, ability to work under timeline, facilitating participatory training, conducting workshop, brain storming sessions, focus group discussions, simulation, seminars, meetings, strong interpersonal skill, team building capacity, problem solving skill, good writing and speaking skill in English, computer skills etc.

Salary:
∎ Gross : Taka 35,000/= 2 days weekend Office time, Annual Leave, Increment & other facilities will be applicable as per `Recruitment and Human Resource Management Policy` of BTS
