∎ Age 22 to 27 years
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Responsible for Chemical management and followed up on all customers' chemical compliance issues as per GOTS/GRS requirements.
∎ Update chemical inventory, MSDS, SDS, TDS, Green screen certificate, chemical test report, GOTS letter of approval, and other certificates and documents as per customer requirements for chemical issues.Perform Daily tests of fabric strength, and physical tests (colorfastness to rubbing, pH value, tearing strength).
∎ Maintain various compliance issues & SOPs as a member of the internal compliance audit team for the wet processing plant.
∎ Maintain Accurate lists of all chemical inputs used in GOTS/GRS products.Maintain a Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS).
∎ Ensure all the chemicals that are being used in the plant have all Hazardous (RSL, AZO free, APEO) free certificatesMaintain chemical purchasing procedures to prevent the purchase of Restricted/Banned substances.
∎ Ensuring safe working conditions and compliance with health & safety.Participates in the chemical product evaluation and approval process.
