Job Context:
∎ Global Leaf Tobacco Company Ltd is an export-oriented tobacco processing company of HB-Jamil Group of Industries, is looking for the right person in the following position to fulfill the requirements of its dynamic team at factory.
∎ Job Location: Trimohani, Barkhada, Kushtia
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Preparing test solutions, compounds, and reagents for conducting tests and advising and coordinating test procedures.
∎ Conduct precise and regular testing of tobacco samples to measure nicotine content, ammonia, sugar content, chloride and filling value.
∎ Monitor and maintain adherence to targeted nicotine levels in the final product.
∎ Conduct quality checks on tobacco batches at the warehouse to ensure compliance with internal standards of procedure.
∎ Oversee and participate in the quality control process during the preparation of tobacco for export.
∎ Expertly handle equipment for tobacco composition analysis, including spectrometers, chromatographs, and other specialized analyzers.
∎ Perform regular calibration of equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results.
∎ Generate degradation reports for tobacco.
∎ Prepare representative tobacco samples for buyers and management.
∎ Utilize advanced analytical techniques for accurate assessment of tobacco blends.
∎ Generate detailed reports on the quality of tobacco products, incorporating results from nicotine, sugar, ammonia, chloride, degradation report and filling value tests.
∎ Preparing standards and specifications for processes, tests, and products.
∎ Maintaining laboratory instruments, troubleshooting malfunctions, and purchasing new laboratory supplies.
∎ Evaluating and ensuring compliance with laboratory safety procedures and standards.
∎ Collaborate with concerned departments to address tobacco quality concerns and implement corrective actions.
∎ Stay informed of advancements in tobacco processing and testing methodologies.
∎ Propose and implement improvements to testing procedures to enhance precision and efficiency.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 45 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ (age may be relaxed to the deserving candidates).
∎ 03 to 08 years working experiences in Tobacco factory or any Agro Industry
∎ Proven experience in a laboratory setting within the tobacco industry.
∎ Familiarity with relevant testing methods and instrumentation.
∎ Expertise in soil testing, fertilizers and/or animal feed.
∎ Experience in handling and calibrating equipment for tobacco composition analysis.
∎ Proficiency in MS Office
∎ Skills Required: Production Operation Management, Quality Assurance or Quality Control, Quality Control Management
