Job Responsibilities:
∎ Trend research, make Design by computer, Develop Sample as well as solves pattern related problems.
∎ The Printed Textile Designer will work closely with the apparel designers to develop prints for new product lines and to ensure prints reflect the retail customer requirements and current market trends.
∎ As The Printed Textile Designer you will be responsible for designing and coloring for placement and all over prints, plus embroideries and embellishments.
∎ Researching customers/market print trends.
∎ Engineering prints to achieve price points.
∎ Pan tone matching for color accuracy.
∎ Providing accurate information to the print technicians and managing the initial strike offs
∎ Liaising with the production team and working collaboratively with the different departments across the business.
∎ The ability to use different design software packages is essential.
∎ You will need to be fluent in the English language and have gained several years' experience of designing for the multiple retailers.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 32 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ A creative person with good technical knowledge who will also be able to contribute to the design of printed textiles and embroideries. We are looking for a creative printed textile design manager or designer who is used to working with mass market retailers and who can interpret fashion trends for the mainstream
∎ At least 3 years practical experience as textile printing designer.
