Job Responsibilities:

Position Overview

We are looking for a responsible and proactive Territory Delivery In-Charge /Distribution Manager to manage delivery operations within a specific territory. This individual will oversee a team of 10–20 delivery personnel, ensure timely and accurate delivery to pharmacies, manage workforce rosters, handle conflict resolution, and maintain end-to-end accountability over cash deposit and delivery reporting processes.

This is a field-centric leadership role that requires strong coordination skills, team handling experience, and the ability to enforce operational discipline in a time-sensitive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Management:
  Ensure that all assigned deliverymen report to duty on time, maintain discipline, and follow operational instructions consistently.

• Rostering & Shift Planning:
  Prepare and manage weekly rosters to ensure uninterrupted 7-day delivery coverage with fair weekend planning and leave balancing.

• Delivery Assignment & Load Balancing:
  Distribute delivery tasks efficiently to ensure all orders are dispatched to the correct address and optimize coverage in case of emergency leaves.

• Real-Time Problem Solving:
  Resolve shop-level issues raised by pharmacy owners, address delivery disruptions, and ensure each case is followed up properly.

• Cash Handling Oversight:
  Verify that all deliverymen have submitted due payments in the accounts or to the cash counter in full, and maintain compliance with internal processes.

• Fraud & Misreporting Prevention:
  Monitor deliverymen for false reporting or absentee behavior disguised as field work. Escalate disciplinary issues when needed.

• Return Verification:
  Confirm legitimacy of product returns — ensure they are due to valid customer reasons and not delivery failure or avoidance.

• Customer Commitment Fulfillment:
  Ensure that deliveries are completed within the promised time windows, maintaining HealthOS’s commitment to service reliability.

• Reporting & Coordination:
  Submit daily activity summaries using Google Sheets, report escalations, and maintain continuous communication with the central delivery operations team.

• Candidates with their own motorbike and a valid driving license will get preference.

 Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in any discipline

• Prior experience in logistics, delivery, or team coordination roles preferred

• Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills

• Ability to handle field-level urgency and motivate blue-collar workforce

• Familiarity with Google Sheets, and comfort using smartphones/apps for task management

• High personal integrity and accountability under pressure

Your responsibilities include:

• Ensuring every deliveryman reports, leaves, and returns on time

• Assigning delivery orders based on route, workload, and emergencies

• Verifying cash deposits and app updates from deliverymen

• Preventing misreporting, absenteeism, and unauthorized returns

• Coordinating return validations and reporting field incidents

• Submitting Google Sheets-based reports to central delivery operations daily
