Job Responsibilities:
∎ Operate and control production machinery and equipment used in fabric manufacturing, such as looms, knitting machines, or dyeing machines.
∎ Monitor the machines for proper operation, making adjustments as needed to maintain production quality.
∎ Load and unload raw materials, such as yarns, threads, or fabric rolls, onto machines.
∎ Ensure that materials are fed into machines correctly and continuously.
∎ Inspect the fabric at various stages of production to check for defects, irregularities, or quality issues.
∎ Identify and report any quality concerns to supervisors or quality control personnel.
∎ Assist in the assembly and finishing of fabric products, including cutting, sewing, and attaching accessories or labels.
∎ Ensure that finished products meet quality and design specifications.
∎ Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks on production machinery to prevent breakdowns and ensure their proper functioning.
∎ Report any machine malfunctions or maintenance needs to maintenance staff.
∎ Follow safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
∎ Report any safety hazards, incidents, or injuries to supervisors.
∎ Assist in maintaining inventory levels of raw materials and finished products.
∎ Coordinate with the materials management team to request additional supplies when needed.
∎ Maintain accurate records of production output, machine settings, and quality checks.
∎ Complete production reports and update relevant documentation as required.
∎ Troubleshoot and address minor machine or process issues to minimize downtime.
∎ Collaborate with maintenance teams or engineers for more complex problems.
∎ Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge of fabric production processes.
∎ Cross-train to perform various production tasks as needed.
∎ Provide feedback and suggestions for process improvements and optimization.
∎ Assist in the implementation of changes to enhance efficiency and quality.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 27 years
∎ Previous experience in fabric production or a related manufacturing environment is beneficial.
∎ Basic knowledge of fabric production processes and equipment.
∎ Good attention to detail and quality control skills.
∎ Ability to follow safety procedures and guidelines.
∎ Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
