Educational Requirements:
∎ Graduate/Post Graduate in Gender Studies/ Social Science faculty from any recognized university

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Coordinate implementation of project plan for GESI in the Host and FDMN communities under PRM-WASH and Nutrition-Food Security project in Cox’s Bazar
∎ Facilitate the Gender integration interventions and ensure technical and strategic input to the program team for GESI
∎ Conduct Gender GAP Analysis in project area within the scope of WASH and Nutrition-Food Security component
∎ Provide technical advice, direction and support to the team members in ensuring gender mainstreaming, in all aspect of project implementation
∎ Coach, train, mentor staff and organize trainings to elevate their knowledge and understanding on the issue of GESI
∎ Ensure effective proposal development related knowledge activities that is relevant to this position
∎ Overall monitoring of the entire project through GESI lens on day to day basis, provide suggestions and feedback on where and how to improve; also take initiative for improvement in BC
∎ Plan for timely purchase requisition in line with the project deliverables
∎ Represent BRAC in any relevant thematic meetings with stakeholders and otherwise as needed
∎ Any other responsibilities related to GESI, assigned by supervisor and senior management
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for
∎ Establishing a safe working environment. Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so
∎ Conduct field visits to observe and identify room for improvement for GESI elements and organize, lead and hosts workshops with implementation partners and CI staff and support in effective application of CI’s GESI strategies
∎ Provide training and capacity building support to BO team, and implementation partners on knowledge management and communication tools and processes, including training and capacity building on collecting and writing impact stories, online tools usage and so on

∎ Problem-Solving Skills
∎ Familiarity with principles of monitoring & evaluation.
∎ Experience in writing brief narrative reports
∎ Able to work collaboratively with internal staff and external providers
∎ Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Word and Excel
∎ Demonstrated competency to work independently with minimum supervision
∎ Strong mentality to work with displaced people as well as sexual and gender-based violence survivors
∎ Strong experience from a humanitarian / NGO setting with relevant professional experience in the field of sexual exploitation and abuse, protection, gender-based violence, staff misconduct and discipline, gender mainstreaming and/or humanitarian affairs
