- Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Renewable Energy, Solar System or a closely related field from an accredited university.
Requirements: Skills Required: Additional Requirements: - At least 5-6 years of hands-on experience in the design, engineering, and implementation of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems.
- Must have led or been a key technical lead in at least one solar project with a capacity of 2MW or higher.
- Hands-on experience in tendering, LC documentation, contract negotiation, and end-to-end project implementation.
- Proficiency in design and simulation tools such as PVSyst, Helioscope, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional technical teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong client communication, stakeholder coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel to project sites and client locations as required.
- Additional certifications or training in solar PV systems, project management, or renewable energy will be considered an advantage.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Manager for Solar EPC to lead the technical, commercial, and operational aspects of solar EPC projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering with proven experience in solar PV system design, tendering, LC handling, client negotiation, and full-cycle project implementation. This role requires excellent coordination skills to manage cross-functional teams and ensure the successful delivery of large-scale solar projects, including those of 2MW capacity or higher. The candidate should also have the ability to identify new business opportunities, develop strategic proposals, and drive technical excellence across all project stages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in industrial, commercial, and government sectors for solar system projects.
- Engage in client meetings, presentations, and technical discussions to promote solar energy solutions and convert leads into active projects.
- Conduct market analysis and competitor benchmarking to support pricing and positioning strategies.
- Prepare and submit technical and commercial proposals for public and private sector tenders, ensuring all documentation and compliance requirements are met.
- Coordinate with internal departments such as design, procurement, and finance to compile complete tender packages including BOQs, system layouts, cost breakdowns, and timelines.
- Manage the entire LC (Letter of Credit) process related to equipment importation, including documentation, coordination with banks, suppliers, and shipping agents.
- Oversee contract negotiations with clients, vendors, and subcontractors, ensuring technical scope, pricing, timelines, and terms are clearly defined and agreed upon.
- Supervise the full project lifecycle from engineering and procurement to construction, testing, and commissioning of solar power systems.
- Review and approve technical designs, PV system simulations, and site layouts using software such as AutoCAD and PVSyst, Helioscope, and Sketch Up.
- Monitor project execution to ensure compliance with design, quality, safety standards, and timeline commitments.
- Act as the primary technical liaison between clients, consultants, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate project records, schedules, reports, and documentation for internal review and client updates.
- Resolve any project issues or delays by coordinating with relevant departments and ensuring timely corrective actions.
- Ensure strong coordination between technical, commercial, and operational teams to deliver successful project outcomes.
