∎ JOB PURPOSE: Will supervise the activities of psychosocial support, basic counselling and medical assistance to the vulnerable returnee migrants and their family members.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop psychocosial counselling plan, guidelines and case management format.
∎ Provide/facilitate training for the Psychosocial Counselors as per plan.
∎ Provide necessary supervision to the Psychosocial Counsellors.
∎ Develop partnership with different mental health related service providers.
∎ Follow up the referral process on a regular basis and prepare progress report.
∎ Act as the focal point for psycho-social reintegration component.
∎ Develop monthly, quarterly report of psycho-social counseling status of all Migration Reintegration Service Centers .
∎ Supervise counseling to the returnee migrant workers and their family members.
∎ Monitor referral mechanism for trauma counseling and medical treatment support.
∎ Arrange and participate in supervision session on counselling issues.
∎ Provide counselling support to the vulnerable returnees as a part of Immediate assistancet at airport.
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
