Educational Requirements:
∎ Medical graduate with an MPH

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Capacity Development:-
∎ Conduct training need assessment of healthcare employee
∎ Prepare staff development plan according to identified training need
∎ Prepare & organize training budget according to training plan
∎ Identify training commitments of outside organizations and liaison for outsourcing of training of Friendship’s healthcare employee
∎ Develop Learning Resource Packages (LRPs) for different level of health care providers
∎ Supervise training and training of trainer provided by training & technical specialist
∎ Prepare reports on capacity development activities to support health sector program reports
∎ Communicate donors on training plan, budget and activities
∎ Quality Improvement:-
∎ Develop quality of care framework, guidelines and tools for healthcare services (floating hospitals & community based healthcare) provided by Friendship, Bangladesh
∎ Develop standards for quality assurance of health sector program of Friendship
∎ Prepare plan to improve the quality of patient care and safety
∎ Provides educational and technical assistance to staffs and departments in meeting their Quality Assurance objectives
∎ Oversee quality assurance and compliance functions to ensure services are provided at the highest standards and provide ongoing assessment and support for continuous quality
∎ Develop performance improvement plan towards patient safety improvement initiatives and risk management plan for patients and care providers
∎ Evaluation of Quality Improvement Program in terms of success and failure and submits reports on Quality Assurance activities
∎ Analyze data of quality improvement activities and document and maintain records of all Quality Assurance activities
∎ Communicate donor on ongoing Quality Assurance activities
∎ Administrative:-
∎ Liaison with other departments, organizations, government health sectors and donors
∎ Participate in recruitment process of healthcare staff
∎ Conduct performance evaluations & provide feedback
∎ Assist with the de the development of strategic plans

Additional Requirements:
∎ Must have at least 10 years experiences in designing and creating training programs in healthcare sector
∎ Must have experiences in managing functional and technical training teams
∎ Must have experience in quality improvement issues of the following business area(s): NGOs, Hospitals and Community Health
∎ Should have experiences in regular monitoring of quality of services and constantly improving technical and non-technical quality aspects of service delivery.
∎ Excellent written and oral English communication skills including ability to plan and
∎ deliver effective presentations
∎ Must be capable of leading an effective team. S/he must have experiences in introducing new initiative(s) in an organization
∎ The position requires familiarity with the SRH sector and with approaches related to training and quality management
∎ Training experience in Project Management Principles
∎ Good knowledge of Information technology
∎ A good communicator maintain liaison with donor, capacity development institutions and other partner organizations
