Educational Requirements:
∎ MBBS / Master Degree in any discipline in any recognized university (MPH preferable).
∎ Any third division/class in academic career will lead to ineligibility.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Strengthen government health system for integrated TB control and prevention services.
∎ Promote government ownership and stewardship for implementing TB services.
∎ Support National TB Programme for implementation and long term sustainability
∎ Coordinated planning with NTP in support of the transition towards government stewardship of key programme activities.
∎ Contribute in developing National TB/PPT/DR TB/ TB-HIV/high Risk population strategy, guideline, SoP and training manuals.
∎ Support National TB Programme for implementation of National TB/PPT/DR TB/TB-HIV/High Risk population guidelines and SoPs.
∎ Optimum utilization of the resources and smooth implementation of the programme under the leadership of NTP.
∎ Monitor and supervise the implementation of TB programme with extensive field visit.
∎ Periodic data analysis, programme reviews/meetings at different levels with field staff in collaboration with NTP following national guideline and reach targets/milestone.
∎ Maintain coordination and Communication with the government, NTP, NGO partners, donors, LFA and other relevant Stakeholders.
∎ Prepare TB implementation plan in close collaboration with NTP.
∎ To ensure overall implementation of TB Control programme in relevant geographic areas.
∎ Coordinate timely recruitment, orientation and deployment of staff.
∎ Supervise and provide technical support to ensure anti-TB treatment according to NTP guidelines, through periodic field visits.
∎ Coordinate and provide support referral of presumptive and complicated cases to diagnose through X-ray and Gene X-pert site for diagnosis of missing cases and case management.
∎ To take proper measures for well-functioning Gene X-pert and TB diagnosis Centre to catch up missing TB cases.
∎ Ensure availability of anti-TB drugs and other supplies.
∎ TB diseases report have to be analysis weekly, monthly and quarterly to reach the yearly target on time.
∎ Organize and facilitate monthly and quarterly staff meetings to review progress and develop actions for further improvement of the programme.
∎ Monitoring, Supervision and Coordination:
∎ Maintain overall coordination with Government, BRAC, and other stakeholders in implementing TB Control activities
∎ Conduct periodic monitoring of TB Control activities according to action plan and proper report
∎ Facilitate internal and external monitoring and audit
∎ Facilitate periodic visits by BRAC, NTP, WHO, LFA, CCM, Global Fund and others Stakeholders
∎ Supervise and coordinate quality assurance and surveillance system.
∎ Coordinate and attend monthly and/ or quarterly programme review meetings organized by the SR and the PR.
∎ Reporting and dissemination:
∎ Ensure disease, programmatic and finance report timely, accurate and complete as per the agreement and ensure to BRAC and NTP.
∎ Ensure any other report to BRAC and NTP as and when necessary.
Additional Requirements:
∎ For Medical graduates, minimum 5 years of experience in relevant field or any health programme management.
∎ For others, minimum 7 years of experience in relevant field or any health programme management.
∎ Ability to work in a team with government and related development partners and stakeholders.
∎ Ability to lead the project and the team independently.
∎ Commendable knowledge in health and social structures of Bangladesh.
∎ Strong administrative, managerial and Motivational skill.
∎ Good oral and written communication skill, both in Bangla and English.
∎ Good Knowledge in MS Office, e.g. Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint. application of Software, e.g. Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint
∎ Age: Not exceeding 50 years.
Salary: Tk. 65000 (Monthly)
