• As a System Engineer you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, administration and troubleshooting of network devices and systems. You will work closely with NOC, field teams and external vendors to ensure high availability, strong performance and excellent customer support.
• Experience: At least 3 years of experience as a System Engineer or in a similar role.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS) and Windows Server.
• Experience with virtualization technologies like VMware, Hyper-V, or KVM.
• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco IOS/NX-OS and/or Arista EOS.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and SDN concepts is a plus.
• Professional Certification: Vendor certifications such as MTCNA, MTCRE, CCNA, CCNP/CCIE, or JNCIP/JNCIE are highly preferred.

We are a growing ISP committed to delivering reliable, high-performance network services. We are seeking a skilled System Engineer to join our engineering team in Khulna to design, deploy, and maintain carrier-grade network infrastructure and provide outstanding technical support to our clients.

The Role

As a System Engineer, you'll be in charge of installing, setting up, and fixing network devices and systems. You'll work closely with our support and field teams, as well as outside partners, to make sure our network is always available and performs well. This is a full-time job for someone with 3 years of experience. You'll work on-site in Khulna on rotational shifts, which includes weekends.

Responsibilities:

• System Design & Architecture: Design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient IT systems. This includes designing, operating, and troubleshooting routing protocols (BGP/OSPF), VPN tunnels, and network services like DNS, DHCP, and QoS.
• System Deployment & Configuration: Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Linux, Windows) and enterprise applications. You will deploy and configure network equipment from vendors like MikroTik, OLT, Juniper, and Cisco, as well as enterprise Wi-Fi equipment from brands like Cisco, Cambium, H3C, Ruijie, and Fortinet.
• Monitoring & Optimization: Proactively monitor system and network performance using tools like SolarWinds, PRTG, or Nagios to ensure high availability and reliability. You will also implement proactive measures for capacity planning.
• Security & Compliance: Implement and manage security measures to protect systems and data, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Incident Management & Troubleshooting: Respond to and resolve system incidents and outages promptly. You will use your in-depth knowledge of core networking protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, STP, VLANs, VRF, 802.1X, TCP/IP) to conduct root cause analysis and minimize downtime.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, procedures, and changes. You will also generate reports on system performance, incidents, and compliance.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams and external vendors. You will provide timely technical support to clients via phone, email, and on-site visits as needed.
• Backup & Disaster Recovery: Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans, regularly testing procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.
