Experience with digital marketing tools (Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, basic SEO).Familiarity with backup solutions, virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), and basic scripting (PowerShell, Bash).Knowledge of basic cybersecurity measures (firewall configuration, endpoint protection, MFA implementation).Prior experience documenting processes and creating end-user training materials.

Role Overview

As the IT Officer you will be responsible for day-to-day IT operations, hardware and software support, basic cybersecurity and testing activities, website and server maintenance, and supporting digital marketing initiatives. You will work closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure systems are secure, performant, and aligned with business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first- and second-line IT support for desktops, laptops, peripherals and office hardware; diagnose and resolve hardware issues.

• Install, configure and maintain PC hardware, operating systems and standard business applications.

• Maintain and administer FTP servers, SMTP services and cPanel hosting environments.

• Manage website content and carry out routine website maintenance, backups and basic troubleshooting.

• Configure and operate CCTV systems; monitor recordings and coordinate maintenance or repairs as needed.

• Assist with software testing and basic security assessments using common testing tools and methodologies.

• Support digital marketing activities (e.g., CMS updates, basic SEO, campaign asset preparation, social media coordination) in collaboration with the marketing team.

• Deliver IT training and user awareness sessions for staff on tools, best practices and cybersecurity hygiene.

• Create and maintain documentation: SOPs, asset inventories, user guides, network diagrams and change logs.

• Ensure timely patching and updates for systems and applications; escalate security incidents and coordinate remediation.

• Coordinate with vendors for warranty, maintenance, and procurement of IT equipment and services.

• Provide on-call support for critical issues, participate in occasional after-hours work when needed.

• Other duties as assigned to support the IT function and business continuity.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Basic Programming knowledge is required.

• 2 years of hands-on IT support or system administration experience.

• Strong knowledge of PC hardware, Windows and common office software; experience with macOS or Linux is a plus.

• Experience with website maintenance (CMS like WordPress), cPanel, FTP administration and basic web troubleshooting.

• Familiarity with SMTP configuration and email deliverability concepts.

• Basic knowledge of software testing tools and procedures; awareness of security testing practices.

• Experience installing and managing CCTV systems and video management software.

• Good understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and ability to liaise with network teams.

• Strong communication skills and experience delivering user training and technical documentation.

• Problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred / Advantageous Skills
