We're not looking for a technology executive to maintain systems. We're looking for one to build the engineering backbone — compliance-grade infrastructure, AI-native platforms, and a world-class delivery organization — that gets Betopia to Infosys/TCS-scale credibility with global enterprise buyers.

Position Summary:
The CTO owns Betopia Limited's technology strategy, engineering execution, and platform architecture, reporting directly to the CEO. This is a build role: closing enterprise compliance gaps (SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR) fast, standing up AI-native platforms that generate 20–30% of revenue, and constructing engineering infrastructure that scales without breaking as headcount grows 2x.

Scope clarity: The CTO owns technical architecture, engineering delivery, security posture, and AI/GPU infrastructure leadership. Commercial ownership of cloud and cybersecurity client relationships sits with the Chief Business Officer; the CTO is the technical authority those client engagements are built on. This is a technology-build mandate, not a client-acquisition or sales quota role.

Key Responsibilities:

Executive & Strategic Leadership:

• Define and execute Betopia Limited's technology roadmap in direct partnership with the CEO.

• Serve as the technical authority in client engagements led commercially by the CBO and sales organization — architecture credibility, not deal ownership.

• Lead technology due diligence for partnerships and potential acquisitions.

• Build relationships with hyperscaler technical teams (AWS, Azure, GCP) at the architecture and co-engineering level.

• Establish engineering governance and architecture standards across all business wings.

Technology & Engineering Leadership:

Own execution across: Software Engineering, AI/ML, Cloud & GPU Infrastructure, DevOps, Enterprise Architecture, Cybersecurity, Data Engineering, QA, and R&D.

• Lead the AI/GPU infrastructure team (multi-model architecture: DeepSeek, Llama, Qwen) supporting delivery across the business.

• Build modern, cloud-native, compliance-grade platforms from day one.

• Establish CI/CD, DevSecOps, and observability standards.

First 90 Days — Compliance Mandate:

• Close ISO 27001 and SOC 2 certification gaps — currently blocking enterprise deal cycles.

• Establish a scoped roadmap for HIPAA and GDPR readiness tied to active pipeline requirements.

• Deliver a technical architecture assessment across all four business wings (Local Sales delivery, OEM/SI, Cloud & Data Center, Cybersecurity).

Product & Innovation Leadership:

• Drive AI-native product development; own build-vs-buy-vs-partner decisions.

• Develop proprietary platforms and reusable IP targeting 20–30% of Betopia Limited revenue.

Leadership & Organizational Development

• Build and scale the engineering organization in step with Betopia Limited's growth trajectory.

• Recruit and retain senior technical talent; build succession pipelines.
