Position Overview

The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality SaaS software systems. This includes bringing strong skills in analysis, design, programming, and testing to support the transition of our platform to an AWS-hosted SaaS solution.

The Senior Software Engineer applies their expertise in .NET, MSSQL, JavaScript/TypeScript, and AWS to build new product features, support customer issues, and contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices. They work as part of a cross-functional agile team, collaborating closely with engineers, product managers, and QA to deliver scalable and maintainable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, Implement and test new features in collaboration with the team.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable systems and APIs.

• Refactor legacy code to improve performance and maintainability.

• Conduct code reviews to ensure quality, performance, and reliability.

• Optimise system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including testers, tech writers, and product owners.

• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

• Work as part of an Agile Software development team and follow good software development practices.

• Write clean, efficient, well-documented code that adheres to industry best practices.

• Play a leading role in the enhancement of the product in line with our technical strategic direction.

• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation within our platform.

• Collaborate with testers, tech writers, developers, development managers and product owners to drive continuous improvement in products and processes
