Responsibilities & Context:

1.     Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain high-quality software applications, web applications and enterprise solutions.

2.     Develop scalable backend services, RESTful APIs and microservices using modern programming languages and frameworks.

3.     Design and build responsive, user-friendly, and high-performance frontend applications.

4.     Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, cloud services, authentication services and external systems into applications.

5.     Design, optimize, and maintain relational and NoSQL databases to ensure data integrity, performance and scalability.

6.     Develop and maintain ETL processes, data pipelines and data integration solutions where required.

7.     Write clean, efficient, secure, reusable, and well-documented code following software engineering best practices.

8.     Perform software testing, debugging, troubleshooting, bug fixing and performance optimization.

9.     Collaborate with UI/UX designers, QA engineers, DevOps engineers and other stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.

10. Participate in requirement analysis, system design, architecture planning and technical documentation.

11. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software build, testing and deployment processes.

12. Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications on cloud platforms and Linux/Windows servers.

13. Configure and manage application servers, web servers, databases and supporting infrastructure.

14. Ensure application security by implementing authentication, authorization, encryption and secure coding practices.

15. Monitor application performance, identify bottlenecks and implement scalability improvements.

16. Utilize version control systems such as Git and collaborate through GitHub, GitLab, or similar platforms.

17. Research, evaluate, and implement new technologies, frameworks, and development tools to improve software quality and development efficiency.

18. Work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver software within project timelines.

19. Provide technical support, maintenance and enhancements for existing software systems.

20. Prepare technical documentation, deployment guides and user manuals when required.

21. Perform any other software development or technical responsibilities assigned by the management.
