Education:
B.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering or Related Departments.

Experience:
4 to 7 years mostly in BI related area

Other Skills:
• Proficiency in BI tools such as OBIEE, Tableau or similar
• Sound knowledge on Data Warehouse concepts/Architecture
• Advanced SQL knowledge and analytical skill
• Communication skill
• Programming knowledge preferably on PLSQL and Python
• Basic Knowledge in statistics and statistical models.
• Basic understanding on NO SQL databases and Big Data platforms is preferred.

Enable stakeholders to make strategic decisions by providing data and insights to them in form of ad-hoc reports, automated reports, Data Marts, OBIEE data models and Tableau dashboards. Collaborate with various teams, to identify their data needs and translate them into actionable reports and dashboards.

Job Responsibilities

•     Ad-Hoc Reporting: Supporting stakeholders with required data and insights to facilitate their decision making

•     Report Automation: Analyzing repeated ad-hoc reports and automating them to save time and efforts

•     Procedure Development and Optimization: Developing optimized procedures to lower computational expenses and runtime

Tableau & OBIEE Administration:

•     Administer and support Tableau and OBIEE platforms, ensuring availability, security, and performance.

•     Monitor system health, scheduled jobs, and BI service performance.

•     Perform deployments, upgrades, migrations, backups, and disaster recovery activities.

•     Data Mart Development: Analyzing stakeholders data request patterns and developing data marts to enable them to an extent that they can create their own reports and derive data insights

•     OBIEE User, Report and Data Mart Access: Creating new OBIEE users, Providing access to different reports and data marts

•     OBIEE Log Monitoring: Monitoring OBIEE logs regularly to prevent abnormalities. Also creating a list of the most used reports and searching for scopes to optimize their backend procedures.

•     Commission Reporting: Understanding campaign modalities and providing accurate reports on time to facilitate timely commission disbursements.

•     Enabling Stakeholders for Self Service BI: Educating and empowering stakeholders with the usages of different functionalities of Self-Service BI which will increase their efficiency

•     Advanced Reporting and Automation: Creating detailed, customized reports using complex data analysis techniques to derive actionable insights

•     Optimization: Identifying opportunities to improve data analysis processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

•     Ensuring Compliance: Ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations and maintaining data security measures to protect sensitive information.

•     Stakeholder Management: Managing Stakeholders’ needs and expectations from different departments.
