• RHCE – Red Hat Certified Engineer • CKA – Certified Kubernetes Administrator • Relevant certifications in Linux, Kubernetes, virtualization, cloud, networking, security, or DevOps will be an added advantage.

Job Context

We are looking for an Engineer / Senior Engineer – Platform Management to manage, operate, troubleshoot, automate, and continuously improve core infrastructure and application platforms. The role will be responsible for ensuring high availability, performance, security, and operational reliability of critical platforms supporting bKash services.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain critical enterprise platforms to ensure 99.99% availability, reliability, and performance of core and extended platform services.

• Perform L1/L2 troubleshooting, incident investigation, root cause analysis, log analysis, and performance/fault analysis across infrastructure and application platforms.

• Administer and support Linux/Unix, virtualization, Kubernetes/container platforms, application platforms, clusters, storage, ADC/WAF, API Gateway, HSM, and cloud-based security platforms.

• Plan and execute platform deployment, configuration, patching, upgrades, migration, capacity expansion, and performance optimization across production and non-production environments.

• Develop and maintain automation scripts, operational tools, and CI/CD pipelines to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual activities.

• Implement and maintain security hardening, access controls, vulnerability remediation, and compliance requirements in coordination with relevant teams.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and technology partners for incident resolution, technical support, platform integration, upgrades, and service improvement.

• Maintain required technical documentation, SOPs/runbooks, system build documents, inventory, and incident/RCA reports, and participate in 24×7 operational/on-call support as required.

Technology Exposure

The role may involve working with technologies and platforms such as:

• Operating Systems: Linux/Unix – RHEL, SUSE, Ubuntu or equivalent

• Virtualization & Cloud: KVM/OpenStack or equivalent virtualization technologies

• Containers: Kubernetes, Docker/Container Runtime and related technologies

• Application & Middleware Platforms: Enterprise application platforms, API Gateway and related middleware technologies

• ADC & Security: F5 ADC/WAF, Cloudflare WAF and related application security technologies

• Security Platforms: Thales HSM or equivalent HSM technologies

• Automation & DevOps: Ansible, Shell/Python scripting, Git and CI/CD tools

• Monitoring: Enterprise infrastructure and application monitoring/observability tools
