Job Responsibilities

• Skilled in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, networks, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).

• Create and manage users, groups, and file permissions to enforce system security and access control.

• Configure LVM (Logical Volume Manager) for dynamic disk management and resizing of storage volumes.

• Manage system services using systemd, including enabling, starting, and troubleshooting essential services.

• Schedule recurring tasks using cron and performed task automation via shell scripting.

• Configure NFS and autofs for shared storage access across multiple clients.

• Set up and maintained network services including static IP, DNS, and hostname resolution.

• Skilled in system security hardening, HA Clustering, performance tuning and monitoring.

• Experienced in virtualization technology: VMware, HYPER-V & Red hat Virtualization Technology.

• Experience with windows server and its services like Active directory (AD), DFS, File services and others.

• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python and Shell for automating technical operations.

• Knowledge of databases including SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, My SQL etc.

• Install, configure, and maintain different services such as Nginx, Apache, DNS, PAM, LDAP and Firewall.

• Good understanding of firewall rules & policies and routing protocols.

• Hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco routers and switches in both LAN and WAN environments.

• Hands-on experience in configuring and troubleshooting VLANs, trunking, and inter-VLAN routing to effectively segment and manage network traffic.

• Configure and manage Spanning Tree Protocol (STP) to prevent loops in switching environments.

• Good knowledge and implementation skills on Network Monitoring tools like Cacti, Nagios, Zabbix.

• Candidates should have a pleasant personality, be confident, sincere, proactive, and intelligent.

• Be able to work under pressure and dynamic requirements, Roles and Responsibilities and willing to perform any additional task for the Organization improvement.

• Any Vendor Certifications in Network/System/Security is a plus.

Required Qualifications:

·         CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate).

·         RHCSA (Red Hat Certified System Administrator).

·         RHCE (Red Hat Certified Engineer).

·         Strong hands-on experience with Cisco devices and Linux server environments.

·         Good knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, subnetting, and system security.
