Job Context:
∎ A System Engineer is responsible for maintaining the design and integrity of company’s and our clients’ voice and call center systems, and adjacent systems (ACD, IVR, Recording, Reporting, WFM) related to call center including hosted and manage service environments. They will provide expert technical assistance to team members with high-level system and networking request. This role will be responsible designing, implementing and testing complex voice infrastructure in support of our customer needs.
∎ As a member of the Service Team, a System Engineer will provide onsite and remote support to call center eco system and voice connectivity with critical response time requirements for their business technology systems. You will work independently and as part of a team to answer service desk calls, urgently analyze technical issues, address Level 2 escalations, work with the project manager on team related projects, and troubleshoot over the phone/onsite/via remote access.
∎ Finally, this role will successfully demonstrate the skills required to secure and manage voice infrastructures to protect productivity, mitigate threats, and reduce costs.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ 1. Provide technical services and support for the following areas:
∎ a) Must have Experience in Vicidial/Goautodial
∎ b) Installation, Configuration and Maintenance of Asterisk/FreeSWITCH base Voice System.
∎ c) IVR configuration through Asterisk.
∎ d) Must have the ability to produce technical solutions of complex problems.
∎ e) Understand and adhere the process involved in system administration, maintenance, security, backup, and recovery
∎ 2. Remote monitoring and management of system alerts and notifications
∎ 3. Participate in the administration and maintenance of the remote monitoring and management system: update agent scripts, respond to alerts, monitor dashboard, and periodic system review
∎ 4. Work with Project and Management Team to Engineer projects, identify new products and solutions, and research solutions for existing setup
∎ 5. Document maintenance for all computer systems and voice infrastructure
∎ 6. Communication with customers as required: keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes or agreed outages
∎ 7. Be available for other engineers and coach them to resolution
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 27 to 40 years
∎ 1. Vicidial/Goautodial
∎ 2. Voice Technologies (Asterisk, VoIP, SIP Trunking, RTP)
∎ 3. Must Have knowledge on Call Center technology and its eco system
∎ 4. Familiarity with: VPNs, BGP, VLAN, Routing, LAN, WAN
∎ 5. Experience in Web Application Development (PHP, MySql, PHPAgi)
∎ 6. Knowledge in Active Directory, GPO, DNS, DHCP.
∎ 7. Preferred to have knowledge in 3rd party API integration
∎ 8. Vmware, Hyper-V administration.
∎ 9. Security software such as Anti-virus, Anti-SPAM, Anti-Spyware, and other security related technologies
∎ 10. Excellent written and documentation skills.
