Responsibilities & Context:
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support to customers regarding internet and network-related issues.
Diagnose and resolve connectivity, router, cable, fiber, and device-related problems.
Visit customer premises when on-site technical support is required.
Monitor network performance and report major technical issues to the concerned team.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot routers, switches, ONU/ONT devices, and other networking equipment.
Coordinate with the Network Operations Center and other technical teams for issue resolution.
Maintain proper records of customer complaints, service visits, and technical solutions.
Ensure customer complaints are resolved within the assigned service timeline.
Support new customer connections, migrations, and service upgrades.
Follow company policies, safety procedures, and technical guidelines.
Provide regular work updates and reports to the reporting supervisor.
Perform any other technical duties assigned by management.
Educational Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
Relevant technical certification will be considered an advantage.
Experience Requirements
At least 1–2 years of experience in ISP, telecommunications, networking, or technical support is preferred.
Fresh graduates with strong networking knowledge may also apply.
Technical Skills
Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, DHCP, DNS, and routing.
Practical knowledge of routers, switches, fiber-optic networks, ONU/ONT, and Wi-Fi troubleshooting.
Familiarity with MikroTik devices will be an advantage.
Ability to identify and resolve network and hardware-related issues.
Basic knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems is preferred.
