Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of production workers, ensuring a safe and productive working environment.
∎ Schedule and assign tasks to team members, considering production targets and deadlines.
∎ Collaborate with production managers and planners to create daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
∎ Ensure that production targets are met while maintaining quality standards.
∎ Enforce quality control processes to maintain the high standard of fabric production.
∎ Train and guide production staff on quality standards and best practices.
∎ Oversee the operation and maintenance of production machinery and equipment.
∎ Ensure that equipment is running efficiently and troubleshoot any issues.
∎ Promote a culture of safety within the production team.
∎ Ensure that all safety regulations and procedures are followed to prevent accidents and injuries.
∎ Monitor and manage the inventory of raw materials, ensuring that supplies are available for production.
∎ Coordinate with the procurement team to order materials as needed.
∎ Continuously seek opportunities to improve production processes and reduce waste.
∎ Implement Lean manufacturing principles and efficiency improvements.
∎ Maintain accurate production records, including production output, downtime, and quality metrics.
∎ Report production progress to higher management as required.
∎ Identify training needs for production staff and provide training to enhance their skills.
∎ Support cross-training to ensure flexibility within the team.
∎ Address production issues and troubleshoot problems as they arise.
∎ Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
∎ Monitor and control production costs, including labor, materials, and overhead.
∎ Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost-effective measures.
∎ Communicate with other departments, such as quality control, maintenance, and procurement, to ensure smooth operations.
∎ Collaborate with the production manager to implement process improvements and achieve production goals.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 28 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Proven experience in fabric production or a related manufacturing environment.
∎ Strong leadership and team management skills.
∎ Knowledge of production processes, machinery, and quality control in fabric manufacturing.
∎ Understanding of safety regulations and compliance.
∎ Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
