Educational Requirements:

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Evaluate the compliance of the chemical products and raw materials used in facilities located in Bangladesh including chemical plant.
∎ Generate programs and tools to facilitate the training of the Chemical Product Management Program or other requirements of the Environmental Management System.
∎ Manage the databases requested by clients such as Higg Index, Clean Chain, The Hive among others required.
∎ Monitor compliance with facilitie's Restricted Substances Code of Practice in relation to chemical product suppliers. as well as other raw materials used in each of the areas of the production process including manufacturing contractors.
∎ Ensure chemicals used in the chemical plant are in compliance with the RSCP and ZDHC MRSL are implemented appropriately and evaluated.
∎ Continuously update the registration of the information of the process and service chemical products well as other raw materials used in facility's operations.
∎ Hold meetings and trainings to ensure compliance with facility's Restricted Substances Code of Practice with suppliers of raw materials and chemical products, including service and manufacturing and contractors.
∎ Hold meetings and trainings with key internal staff.
∎ Perform internal audits and follow-up of the closure of findings related to the Chemical Product Management Program or other requirements of the Environmental Management System, including follow-up of action plans related to HIGG Index and clients.
∎ Request, as necessary, laboratory tests results of wastewater (ZDHC), related to chemical substances in order to evaluate possible risks or develop internal criteria for the safe handling of chemical products in facilities.
∎ Verify compliance with chemical product information storage procedures: such as Safety Data Sheets, labels and documents related to facility's Code of Practice for Restricted Substances.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 25 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Working knowledge on FLA, WRAP, SMETA and CTPAT regulations.
∎ Interpretation of the ISO 14000 Standard Experience in auditing processes.
∎ Regulatory framework in environmental matters.
∎ ISO 9001 Standard Interpretation Seminar/ Sensibilization towards Quality Seminar.
∎ Knowledge on safety and industrial Hygiene.
