Responsibilities & Context:
Job Context: We are seeking an experienced and highly analytical Structural Engineer to design, model, and analyze structural systems for our real estate and residential projects. The ideal candidate must possess deep technical knowledge of building materials, load-bearing capacities, and building codes (BNBC) to ensure the safety, stability, and durability of our structures.
Key Responsibilities:
Structural Design: Perform structural analysis and design for multi-storied building projects using engineering software.
Drawing & Detailing: Guide drafting teams to prepare precise structural working drawings, including foundation, column, beam, and slab details.
Compliance & Codes: Ensure all structural designs strictly comply with BNBC (Bangladesh National Building Code) and RAJUK/Pourashava safety regulations.
Material Estimation: Provide accurate estimations of construction materials (rebar, concrete mix, etc.) based on structural models to optimize costs.
Site Verification: Visit project sites periodically to inspect ongoing construction and ensure work matches structural designs.
Problem Solving: Review and resolve any unexpected structural challenges or revisions required during the construction phase.
