- Bachelor’s Degree in any Discipline. Diploma in Supply chain/Pharmacy/ Procurement will get preference.
- Training in GSP, GDP (Good Distribution Practices), or GMP is an advantage.
Requirements: Skills Required: Additional Requirements: - Minimum 02 years of experience in Hospital/Pharmaceutical store.
- Proficiency in using inventory software and Excel.
- Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Knowledge of procurement rules and safety regulations in handling medical supplies.
Responsibilities & Context: Society for Assistance to Hearing Impaired Children (SAHIC) is a voluntary non-government organization established in February 1987 and registered with the Department of Social Services, Directorate General of Social Welfare, and NGO Affairs Bureau, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, with the aim and objectives of prevention, early detection, and rehabilitation of hearing impaired children, along with treatment of general people's ear, nose, and throat diseases.

About the role:
This Store Keeper is responsible for ensuring proper management of medical and non-medical supplies, including accurate inventory control, timely procurement, and safe storage. This role plays a vital part in supporting hospital operations by maintaining the flow of essential materials and ensuring compliance with procurement and safety standards.
Brief description of key responsibilities:
- Maintain optimal stock levels of medical and non-medical items through timely procurement based on usage trends.
- Update and reconcile inventory records using automated systems and conduct regular physical verifications.
- Source and coordinate with suppliers for quality procurement at competitive prices; maintain supplier performance records.
- Implement inventory control measures to avoid overstocking, shortages, and wastage.
- Ensure proper receipt, tagging, storage, and distribution of supplies in line with safety and compliance standards.
- Coordinate with departments to fulfil requisitions Immediately and accurately.
- Manage store-related equipment repairs and maintain a clean, organized store environment.
- Keep accurate documentation of transactions, procurement, and stock movement; support audits as needed.
- Submit regular inventory and usage reports and perform other tasks as assigned by management.
