Master’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.

• At least 2 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO

• At least 2 years’ experience in a reputed organization

• Two years of hands-on experience in statistical software such as Stata, R or Python for data management and analysis.

• Understanding of SQL SERVER 2008/2012 or higher will be an advantage.

• Maintain flexible working hours to meet project needs and align with different time zones

• Experience working both independently and within cross-functional teams.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Excellent time management and ability to deliver on deadlines

Projahnmo Research Foundation (PRF) in association with Johns Hopkins University, USA has a long and illustrious history of conducting research in Bangladesh. PRF’s research has contributed to improvement of health of Bangladeshi citizens and has supported the career development of numerous Bangladeshi public health professional. PRF is seeking qualified and motivated applicants from Bangladeshi nationals for the position of Statistician.
Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with the study team to gain a thorough understanding of the field context and the study

• Regularly check the data quality, identify inconsistencies, abnormal findings and generate queries and share with data manager, programmer and project team

• Perform data analysis as per advice from investigators and project staff

• Prepare statistical tables, figures, and supplementary appendices for peer-reviewed publications, donor reports, and policy briefs. Ensuring timely delivery of high-quality, submission-ready analyses.

• In collaboration with study teams, investigators, and data managers, provide strategic input into study designs, sample size calculations, protocol development and implementation, data collection strategies, and analytic plans to optimize study quality and efficiency.

• Perform any other job assigned by the Management.
