Responsibilities & Context:
  • Support installation and commissioning of new generator units at client sites.

  • Operate, monitor, and maintain diesel/petrol/gas generators for reliable performance.

  • Conduct daily inspections, preventive checks, and routine servicing of generator systems.

  • Ensure that follow-up work requirements are referred to the appropriate staff to enable necessary action and recommendations to clients

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control-related issues.

  • Ensure safe and efficient operation of generators in compliance with company and industry standards.

  • Respond promptly to power outages, breakdowns, and emergency situations at client’s Sites.

  • Coordinate with supervisors and external vendors for major repairs or specialized servicing.

  • Lead a team of technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to foster professional development.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operation and integration of generator systems within larger energy solutions.

  • Customer Emergency Support.

Skills

  • Strong technical knowledge of engine, alternator, and control systems.

  • Ability to read and interpret service manuals, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics.

  • Familiarity with control panels, AMF/ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch) systems, and load testing.

  • Good troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and respond under emergency

  • To demonstrate knowledge and experience of both mechanical and electrical skill sets.

  • Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with an ability to motivate and inspire others

  • Expert in Microsoft word, Excel.
    Need to be expert for corporate communication in mail and verbal.
