Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Monitors and analyzes inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained.
∎ Develops and implements inventory management strategies.
∎ Forecasts future inventory needs based on sales trends and historical data.
∎ Collaborates with procurement and logistics teams to coordinate inventory replenishment.
∎ Conducts regular inventory audits and reconciles discrepancies.
∎ Prepares and presents inventory reports to management.
∎ Utilizes inventory management software to track inventory metrics.
∎ Identifies and addresses issues related to overstock or stockouts.
∎ Implements processes to minimize inventory holding costs.
∎ Works with suppliers to manage lead times and order quantities.
∎ Reviews and updates inventory policies and procedures.
∎ Supports new product introductions by planning initial inventory levels.
∎ Recommends process improvements to optimize inventory management.
