Marketing and merchandising
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Managing and overseeing the entire merchandising process, from product development to delivery.
∎ Responsible for frequent correspondence with potential buyers.
∎ Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, supplier and other stakeholders.
∎ Facilitating buyer visit & presenting of existing product lines for new potential buyers.
∎ Ensuring the timely and cost-effective production of goods while maintaining quality standards.
∎ Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including design, production and sales to ensure seamless operation.
∎ Monitoring and managing inventory levels to ensure products are in stock and ready available.
∎ Creating sales forecasts and plans for future merchandise needs.
∎ Conduct Risk Analysis meetings and style amendment follow-up on styles presented to and picked up by the buyer at the initial edit.
∎ Work with QA team to ensure quality of output is as per approved PP sample.
∎ Understand testing norms and test procedure of the Buyer's bulk production.
∎ Production follow up from booking to in-housing and timely execution as per Planning Dept.
∎ Generating reports and providing insights to upper management regarding merchandising performance.
∎ Analyzing market trends and consumer demands to make informed business decisions.
∎ Supervising and mentoring team of Merchandisers and providing leadership and guidance.
∎ Any other tasks assigned by management time to time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ Proven experience in merchandising and supply chain management.
∎ Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
∎ Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Salary: Tk. 35000 (Monthly)
