Experience:
Strong knowledge of Bangladesh labor law.
Compliance activities
Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
Responsible for prepare and implementation HR, Admin & Compliance Policies and procedures in work place comply with labor law and buyer COC. Factory prepare for buyer audit/ visit. Recruitment, Onboarding, Training, Development, Disciplinary Action procedure, Complect Management, Daily HR, Admin & Compliance activities in all department. Liaison with buyers, 3rd party audit firm, local enforcement, Labor Office, FSCD and other license and certification bodies.
HR
Manpower planning, Recruitment, Onboarding and workforce optimization.
Regular floor visit and reports to senior management.
Manage and enhance the performance management system to drive continuous improvement, employee development, and goal achievement.
Develop and execute employee engagement programs that foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork and a strong company culture.
To handle grievances, motivation, disciplinary issues, increments and promotions.
Assess training needs of personnel and arrange in-house training programs.
To make liaison and coordination with all departments to achieve organization targets.
Look after the welfare of the employees.
Administration
Look after overall administration of the factory.
Monitoring the activities of all departments.
Management and supervision of security aspects for protection of people and property.
Liaison and coordination with govt. & non-govt. organizations, local , law enforcement & other agencies including local influential people.
Liaison and coordination with agencies like the Department of Environment. Fire Service, Department of Inspection for Industries and Establishments, Labor Office, and others to obtain a license/certificate issue/renewal. Monitoring license issues to ensure that these are kept updated.
Compliance
Taking all necessary steps to comply with the buyer's code of conduct. Organize and conduct all audits and verifications related to various certifications like SEDEX, BSCI, HIGG-FEM, SLCP, CTPAT and so on.
Factory prepare for buyer and 3 party audit and visit.
Prepare and maintain personal files and other documents for compliance audit.
Monitor payroll activities to comply with labor law including final settlement.
