Responsible for prepare and implementation environment management Policies and procedures in work place. Prepare & implement chemical waste policies and procedures, Chemical Inventory, Hazard identification, segregation, labelling, storage & handling procedures, Prepare MSDS/CSDS provide, Provide training on MSDS/CSDS, chemical handling and storage procedures.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare, update and implement Environment management system policies and procedures.

• Ensure proper chemical storage, labeling, secondary containment, and safe use.

• Ensure Environment and chemical compliance of the internal activities according to the environment and chemical code of practice in Garments/ Textile industry.

• Ensure environmental health and safety requirements (chemicals) To collect all MSDS/CSDS compliance certificate and guarantee letter from chemical suppliers

• Conduct energy audit and energy management plan.

• Conduct Internal environmental and Chemical Audit as per Code of Conduct to meet compliance and identify improvement area accordingly on regular basis against the NC and follow up the same with line managers of all departments to ensure that the expected compliance

• Monitor and evaluate the environmental parameters as per DOE Standards & ECR-1997 & Buyer COC. To Ensure Corrective Action Plan if any kinds of NC Occurred.

• Monitor the water consumption plan.

• Analyze MSDS with CAS, GHS pictogram, cross-check CAS in ZDHC MRSL and make sure that chemical and out of 11 priorities banned and restricted groups;

• Analize risk assessment, Root cause, prepare corrective and preventive action plan.

• Ensure MSDS, labeling in chemical store, distribution sub-store and all relevant applicable area

• Provide training to all relevant employees on chemical handling and chemical storage policies & procedures.

• To implement EMS, CMP (Chemical Management Plan).

• Assist HR, Admin & Compliance activities

• Any other task assigns by management.
