Educational Requirements:
∎ Graduate in Textile Engineering/ Master in any subject from reputed university or diploma in Textile will be added advantage.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure design packs are discussed within 24 hours of receivable.
∎ Ensure base testing is carried out for new fabrics and trims, and issues are discussed with the Fabric Technician and handover to the production team in a timely manner.
∎ Liaise with factories in agreeing on Critical Path for all styles in order to ensure PCD dates are met.
∎ Review delivery progress with the team, factories, and fabric mills on a weekly basis bring in to the attention of the manager of exceptions
∎ Review weekly shipment forecast with Buyer and factory.
∎ Visit factories, fabric mills, embellishment plants on a regular basis in order to build and maintain relationships them
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 24 to 38 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ The applicants must have experience in Jersey with any reputed multinational Buying/Sourcing/ Liaison Office.
∎ Efficient in computer operation on Microsoft Office applications
∎ Problem Solving Skill
∎ Should have practical experience in a fast paced/multi-cultural environment.
∎ Have good understanding on fashion/ apparel history.
∎ Have experience on day to day direct communication with buyer.
