Job Context:
∎ A subsidiary of a Multinational Apparel Sourcing Having global presence.
∎ We are looking to recruit a Sr. Merchandiser cum production coordinator.
∎ The Sr. Merchandiser / An ideal candidate must have experience and capability in handling factories production independently for Denims, Non-Denims Bottoms and jacket.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Handle factories production independently for Denims, Non-Denims Bottoms and jacket.
∎ Manage & arrange all kind of production approval.
∎ Monitor production and ensures time schedule and quality of garments.
∎ Meet & deal with Buyers Independently for all merchandising activities such as costing, price quotation, negotiation etc.
∎ Planning for new season sampling and production orders.
∎ Monitor and track product development.
∎ Sourcing materials for new development.
∎ Manage key customer accounts from costing to shipment.
∎ Maintain communication between Buyer for all sort of development and other issues.
∎ Assignment of jobs and monitoring the activities (team members, if any).
∎ Guide, motivate, and develop Team members.
∎ Identify new sourcing opportunities and suppliers.
∎ Review suppliers Capacity and capabilities
Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Capable to look after factories production independently.
∎ Should be proficient in computing, especially in MS Excel.
∎ Should be fluent in both spoken and written communications in English.
∎ Excellent communication skill required.
∎ Should have proven leadership and inter-personal skills with capacity to anticipate and provide solutions to the problems.
∎ Product management, product and business development, costing for new inquiries, quoting and sampling for new buyers, etc.
∎ Should be able to work on own initiative under pressure with set target.
