Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare detail production plan (critically path) for each order in consultation with General Manager, Coordination with MM, Factory management, and other stakeholders to ensure optimum output of garments shipment.
∎ In line with critical path coordinate with factory counterparts from placement of order to final inspections and shipment of garments.
∎ Coordinate with merchandising team to ensure garments samples are made from the assigned factories and sent to buyers for approval as per schedule.
∎ Provide input for short listing of suppliers/factories for the division on the basis of availability structural and technical capabilities including reputation in the market.
∎ Review availability of men & machines of selected factories including their readiness for production of garments as per standards and delivery schedules; and advise management accordingly.
∎ Ensure production flow as per delivery requirements.
∎ Coordinate with assigned QA and Factory QA team to ensure quality production of garments and final inspection as per deadlines.
∎ Coordinate with commercial /shipping team members to ensure timely shipments.
∎ Report deficiencies to divisional head/factory management, as required.
∎ Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 8 years of hand on experience in which 2/3 years as team leader in a large reputed Buying house/Garments factories, having engaged with high ended apparel brands sourcing and shipment
