• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed university or institute.

• Additional certifications in project management or relevant mechanical systems will be an advantage.

• Minimum 12-15 years of experience in a managerial role within the mechanical department of a spinning mill industry.

• In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, particularly spinning machinery.

• Experience in handling Diesel and Gas-based power plant operations and maintenance is preferable.

• Proven leadership and team management skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently.

• Proficient in using standard software tools for mechanical engineering and maintenance.

• Excellent communication and decision-making abilities.

• Familiarity with industry safety standards and regulations.

Job Context : We are seeking a suitable candidate with experience as a Mechanical Engineer in Spinning Mills.

Job Description / Responsibilities:

• Lead the mechanical maintenance department in the spinning mill, overseeing the operation and upkeep of all mechanical equipment and machinery.

• Develop and implement effective preventive and predictive maintenance plans to ensure minimal downtime.

• Diagnose complex mechanical issues and implement corrective actions to maintain uninterrupted production.

• Coordinate with the production, electrical, and quality control teams to ensure optimal performance of spinning machinery.

• Manage and mentor a team of engineers and technicians, ensuring their technical development and adherence to safety standards.

• Oversee the installation and commissioning of new machinery, ensuring it meets the technical specifications and production needs.

• Monitor and maintain the inventory of critical spare parts, ensuring availability for maintenance and repairs.

• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations in all mechanical operations.

• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase machine efficiency and reduce operational costs.

• Provide technical input for capital projects and machine upgrades, collaborating with senior management on budgeting and decision-making.
