Job Context:
∎ Dongyi Sourcing Limited (DSL) is looking for a "Sr. Garment Technologist".
∎ Job Location: Uttara-13, Dhaka.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure that factory has full understanding of the DSL development process.
∎ Need to work with Development Merchandiser and Factories to ensure a detailed and accurate sample pack is given out on first time.
∎ Clear instructions regarding stitching and finishing.
∎ Correct block reference and accurate size specification.
∎ Assist Factories at every stage of development / fit process to ensure a smooth approval process.
∎ Accurately measure and log measurements before sending sample to customers.
∎ Clear Comments/suggestions are made in workbook/email for technologist to refer to when fitting sample.
∎ Working with technologist (Customer) o ensure the most effective route for approval.
∎ Ensure all points (Technologist comments) are clearly explained to our factories.
∎ Maintain sample progress sheets and update in system.
∎ Monitor success of each supplier in connection to sample accuracy and meeting set dates regarding critical path.
∎ Generate and maintain be accountable for workbook consolidation and maintenance from white seal/first fit sample request through to gold seal.
∎ Be responsible for constructive workbook comments, ensuring autonomy at all times.
∎ Ensure the critical path is updated and be responsible for liaising with merchandisers to chase factories for samples to be in DSL office in plenty of time to check thoroughly against customers comments before being submitted to customer for fit approval.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least Five-Six (05-06) years of working experience.
∎ We prefer skill over Degree.
∎ Good skill over English language.
∎ Self-motivated and able to work under timeline.
