Responsibilities & Context:
This role will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, equipment, and services in a timely and cost-effective manner. The role also ensures compliance with company policies, maintains vendor relationships, and supports operational needs efficiently.
To assist in purchasing materials as and when required
Preparation of purchase orders as per project requirements
To collect quotations & samples from suppliers & shops
Negotiation with the vendors to obtain the best rate & service
Rate chart updating & preparation of the CS
Check the delivery status and ensure timely delivery of materials.
Prepare bill & send it to the accounts for approval.
Market monitoring & material rate surveys are to be done from time to time
Keep close coordination and communication with suppliers/vendors to get better service.
Software-related data entry. Work experience with SAP will be an added advantage.
Other duties & responsibilities are assigned by the head of the department from time to time.
