Education:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Technology, Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Fashion Designing
Requirements:
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Textile or Fashion from a renowned university.
∎ Minimum of 5 years working in merchandising and sales.
∎ Proven experience in merchandising, particularly within the woven fabric and garment industry.
∎ Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
∎ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
∎ Willingness to work in a factory environment and collaborate with production staff.
∎ Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant merchandising software.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Regularly communicate with buyers and suppliers to ensure smooth coordination and timely delivery of products.
∎ Work closely with the factory team to oversee production processes and ensure product quality meets company standards.
∎ Utilize extensive knowledge of woven fabrics and garments to assist in product development and quality assurance.
∎ Effectively communicate in both Bangla and English to bridge language barriers with international clients and suppliers.
∎ Manage orders from inception to completion, ensuring all client specifications and deadlines are met.
∎ Address any issues or discrepancies that arise during the production process promptly and efficiently.
