Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor's degree in any discipline
∎ B.Sc in Computer Science/ Computer Engineering with a post-graduate degree in IT/ Business Administration from any reputed university.
∎ A diploma in CSE is allowed when the candidate is more experienced.
∎ Training/Trade Course: Computer Hardware,IT System Management
Experience Requirements:
∎ 4 to 6 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Installing and configuring computers, hardware operating systems, and applications, monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks, troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults & replacing parts as required.
∎ Capable of maintaining installing, configuring, and troubleshooting computer hardware, software, networks, printers, scanners, projectors, and CCTV Camera maintenance.
∎ Inspect, identify, and diagnose issues with printers, photocopiers, laptops, desktops, Projectors, CCTV, UPS, routers, Scanners, and server maintenance.
∎ Evaluate and troubleshoot hardware and software problems.
∎ Perform necessary repairs and maintenance tasks to restore malfunctioning equipment to working order.
∎ Replace faulty components, such as hard drives, memory, motherboards, or printer parts.
∎ Install and configure operating systems and software applications.
∎ Schedule and conduct regular preventive maintenance for all IT equipment.
∎ Cleaning, updating, and optimizing systems to prevent potential issues.
∎ Provide technical support to end-users, addressing queries and resolving IT-related issues.
∎ Assist in setting up and configuring new IT equipment.
∎ Maintain detailed records of all repairs, replacements, and maintenance activities.
∎ Keep an inventory of spare parts and consumables.
∎ Ensure data security by adhering to data protection policies when handling IT equipment.
∎ Keep up-to-date with industry standards and compliance requirements.
∎ Manage and maintain computer hardware, peripherals, and other IT equipment.
∎ Troubleshoot hardware issues and coordinate repairs or replacements as needed.
∎ Install, configure, and maintain software applications and operating systems.
∎ Implement security measures to protect IT systems and data from threats and unauthorized access.
∎ Collaborate with external vendors for technical support and maintenance contracts.
∎ Maintain accurate documentation of IT systems, configurations, and procedures.
∎ Monitor IT resource usage and plan for capacity expansion as needed to support business growth.
∎ Overseeing all technical support and troubleshooting activities related to Network printers, LaserJet printers, photocopying machines, scanners, CCTV cameras, Access Control Devices, Multimedia Projectors, etc.
