∎ Skills Required: Accessories Manufacturing, Google docs, Microsoft Excel

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): 3 to 4 years experience in same position, Fashion Design, Garments Industry, Product Development
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Retail Store, Boutique/ Fashion
∎ Freshers are also encouraged to apply.

Job Context:
∎ Mascot Group is looking for an experienced and creative Fashion designer with a diverse background and depth of knowledge in the fashion industry.
∎ The Designer will need to design and develop western style clothing. For Both Tops & Bottoms and should have range in both light weight to heavy weight products as well as knit & Woven.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Create sketches & designs. Choose & source fabrics, and other materials.
∎ Need to explore new markets and create a brand new product portfolio for company
∎ Translate local and global trends into physical collections that are readily marketable to the customer as brand standard.
∎ Develop the process which includes market research, mood board creation, developing design themes and sketching.
∎ Manage design processes to ensure timely delivery of designs as per production planning.
∎ Responsible for a total year wise clothing sample ready with collection.
∎ Ensure the season wise assignment planning for all designers.
∎ Provide new design ideas and new pattern ideas and knowledge with the team.
∎ For exploring ideas, you need to attend several fashion show events and any kind of exhibitions.
∎ Identify target markets and demographics for designs.
∎ Meet with Potential & existing clients to discuss design ideas.
∎ Collaborate with other designers and clients.
∎ Oversee the final production of their design.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 23 to 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 2 years of experience - with exposure to Retail/e-commerce.
∎ Proficiency in design apps like Photoshop, Illustrator, Corel Draw will be a plus point.
∎ Ability to understand the concepts and trends of global fashion industries.
∎ Proficiency in English language.
∎ Good communication skill.
