Responsibilities & Context:
- Implement environmental practice, Management Framework (EMF) of the Factory.
- Manages and implements EHS programs and procedures and ensures that they are updated.
- Manage and coordinate various EHS-related certification audits (ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001), buyer & lender audits and regulatory audits.
- To address all environmental issues of the factory including Chemical management system & Higg.
- Prepare a legal register for the site and ensure compliance with all environmental, health and safety regulations, and keep abreast of any changes to laws and regulations that impact the plant or factory.
- To monitor and develop all policies and procedures regarding EMS.
- To improve awareness of Employees and safety of the plant & Review all legal requirements (e.g. BNBC, Factory act, factory rules, labor law, ECR, government guidelines )
