Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex software systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
∎ Manage and oversee the software development lifecycle, from conception to deployment and maintenance.
∎ Provide technical leadership and guidance to an international team of software development experts.
∎ Collaborate closely with the GoB Counterpart Team to align software solutions with governmental requirements and objectives.
∎ Ensure adherence to NSW (National Single Window) implementation standards and protocols.
∎ Implement and maintain ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) operations procedures to optimize software development processes.
∎ Conduct regular project reviews and reports to monitor progress, address challenges, and ensure timely delivery of software solutions.
∎ Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in software design and development to enhance the team's capabilities and project outcomes.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Over 15 years of experience in managing web-based software development projects, particularly in Government and/or Public Sector environments.
∎ Demonstrated knowledge and experience with NSW implementation.
∎ In-depth expertise in the development and deployment of Microservices architectures
∎ Profound understanding of methodologies for integrating external systems.
∎ Proficiency in ITIL operations procedures.
∎ Proven leadership qualities with the ability to lead and mentor a team of international technical experts.
∎ Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with GoB Counterpart Team and other stakeholders.
∎ At least two years of experience as an international (Expat)
∎ Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Successful implementation and deployment of software projects within deadlines and budgets.
∎ Effective leadership and team management resulting in high team performance and morale.
∎ Quality and efficiency of software solutions as measured by user satisfaction and system performance metrics.
∎ Effective collaboration and communication with GoB Counterpart Team and stakeholders.
∎ Work Conditions:
∎ This position may require occasional travel for project meetings and coordination with different stakeholders.
∎ The role involves a mix of in-office and remote work arrangements, as per project needs.
∎ Duration of the Position: This is a full-time position with an initial contract of on year, subject to renewal based on performance and project requirements.
